At Balcatta Residential Aged Care, we create a loving and personalised environment where residents truly feel at home. The home is divided into two areas; our original five houses accommodating 40 residents (Garden Wing) and Vista, made up of four distinct wings (red, blue, purple and gold) accommodating 62 places. Each resident enjoys their own private room with an en-suite bathroom, welcoming communal lounge area and surrounded by peaceful gardens. Blue wing located in Vista is a 16-bed dementia specific area to care for people living with dementia.
A sense of community
The environment at Balcatta fosters a feeling of community and connection. At meal times, residents share a meal in the dining room and is a great chance to share some stories and meet people. There is also plenty of opportunity for people living at Balcatta to stroll out in the gardens and stay connected to the outdoors.

This is achieved through a variety of services, planned care and activities, ensuring there’s always someone around to say hello and engage with. Our amazing volunteers also play a vital role, enriching the lives of individuals by spending quality time with them and assisting in a wide range of activities.
